This cartoon was so awesome to me when I was 8. Sadly, I never got this game. I had fucking Bayou Billy instead.

FABIO - 2012-11-26

Fucking Bayou Billy was the actual title.

That game was Battletoads frustrating with none of the joy.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-11-26

My favorite part of Bayou Billy is the "THE ADVENTURES OF BAYOU BIRRY" voice in the intro screen. The game is absolutely terrible.

WallyTheWonderBadger - 2012-11-26

I hope you kept the receipt!

This series aged a lot better than most 80s cartoons. This and Darkwing Duck are the only two shows from my childhood I can stomach anymore.

Quad9Damage - 2012-11-26

I feel like most of our beloved childhood anthropomorphic animal cartoons have been ruined by furries. I never watched Bucky O'Hare. It looks like it might have been fun... not sure if furries stank that up too, though.

Five for the music.

B_Ko - 2012-11-26

Fortunately it seems like most furries have forgotten this series.

garcet71283 - 2012-11-26

It seems most of the furries are beyond the "masturbating to 90s cartoons" phase and have instead moved on to much, much darker things...

poorwill - 2012-11-26

It's a good game too.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-11-26

Fucking yes. I wish this goddamn thing wasn't so hard though.

candyheadrobot - 2012-11-27

The planets are tricky enough, but once they make you rescue the crew again on the Toad ship... -_-

memedumpster - 2012-11-26

Even as a kid the talking animal aspect of the cartoon made me feel embarrassed. It was the first time that talking animals had been presented in a way to my child mind that it recognized as shoe-horned in for ominous reasons unrelatable to the plot.

poorwill - 2012-11-26

I was conflicted. I knew Jenny was creepy and weirdly sexualised, but I stared at her tits all the same. The guy upthread who said furrydom ruined childhood cartoons had it wrong - childhood cartoons created furrydom.

garcet71283 - 2012-11-26

I think I actually remember reading that somewhere. Although I also remember it being the rational of a furry trying to justify the fetish.

poorwill - 2012-11-27

I'd say that it's pretty well-established. There is a 80s/90s western cartoon art streak running through furrydom a mile wide.

Quad9Damage - 2012-11-27

Shortly after I made that post, I sought out and watched the first episode of "Bucky O'Hare." After it ended, I spent a few minutes wondering why the big titted cat girl acted like every breath she took had her edging toward raging orgasm. Did we really need this? I don't think even Sally Acorn could have induced as many fur complexes as this anthropomorphic sex object.

I liked the space battles and shit blowing up, though.

poorwill - 2012-11-27

Yeah, I just caught the first part of the first ep and she is outright obscene for a kid's show - worse than I remembered. High heels, thigh-high boots, thong panty thing, absurd breasts/lips etc. They would never have got away with that crap on a human character.
