For those who might care, McCoy, Aldred, Paul McGann, and some other Doctor Who folk from the Big Finish productions are currently doing an audio drama called The Minister of Chance which is a Dr. Who tie-in sort of thing being primarily funded by fans.
It's also written by the guy who wrote the "Ectoplasm" BBC radio series.
Unfortunately, the problem with doing a series about another time lord is that if you don't do something completely different, you just end up with episodes about an incarnation of the Doctor that nobody knows or cares about.
They almost talk about this era of Dr. Who like they were putting an old horse out of its misery. It's hard to blame them, but they should be barred from entering Valhalla in any case.
This was the moment when I decided to stop watching Doctor Who. Fortunately I didn't actually stop watching Doctor Who until after the cool Dalek episode that came after this one.
Also, worse theme song performance ever. Painful to listen to.
