If everyone had a gun the world would be a safer place (?)

Aelric - 2013-02-03

It's amazing to see how even conservative outlets are mocking the NRA lately.

Gmork - 2013-02-03

Pretty soon people might actually figure out the "examples" of gun owners on the media are cherry picked alex jones clones. Lots of card-carrying NRA members are rolling their eyes at the NRA spokespeople just as hard as you or I.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-02-03

The head of the NRA is "cherry picked?"

Cockmaster Flash - 2013-02-03

Today I learned that the CEO of the NRA does not speak for its membership.

Gmork - 2013-02-03

If youll notice, I said the media examples of gun owners are cherry picked, not the head of the fucking NRA.

Nice eyes.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-02-03

Ah, so he's perfectly rational and not an "alex jones clone," then?

Nice leadership you've got there.

Gmork - 2013-02-03

Hold the phone there, steamy nicks - when did I ever say I supported wayne lapierre? I don't think we're having the same conversation, you and I.

...Or that was a rather clumsy attempt at trolling me by positing that i'm defending lapierre? Despite the fact you don't even need to scroll anywhere to discern that I don't?

::shrug::

Dinkin Flicka - 2013-02-03

If y'all are really gonna fight and end your friendship over THIS, then Wayne LaPierre and Al Qaeda have won.

CJH - 2013-02-04

you know who really makes gun owners look bad? gmork, being a whiny, defensive bitch on every gun video ever. fucking relax, bro

Gmork - 2013-02-05

I'm sorry you don't like how I refuse to see gun owners with the same contempt the WBC sees gay people?

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-02-03

Does Roger Ailes have seizures during segments like this, or does Chris Wallace have photos of him screwing a goat? I can't see any other reason he'd allow this on the air.

jangbones - 2013-02-03

Fox is still in fantasyland but they are definitely making tiny lurching steps towards reality. The Tea Party is a political liability, their demographic is ancient and the Republican brand has taken a beating lately. Fox has always taken its cues from the GOP, and Christiancentric rhetoric, race-baiting, and outrage-farming hasn't won a lot of elections lately.

The far right will not suffer from lack of media coverage. The Blaze, the Daily Caller, Drudge, Worldnetdaily, Breitbart's sites, they have already taken up the crazy mantle.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2013-02-03

Fair and Balanced.

Old_Zircon - 2013-02-03

"teen year old girls"

Oscar Wildcat - 2013-02-03

Clearly the head of the NRA is decided by some strange carnal right of passage rather than any core competency in public speaking.

cognitivedissonance - 2013-02-04

Rex Nemorensis

baleen - 2013-02-03

A young girl present with Obama during his inauguration was just shot in South Chicago by gangs. If only she had been armed.

catpenis27 - 2013-02-03

I know, right? Some weird little revolver could have enabled her to injure one of her attackers and die anyway.

memedumpster - 2013-02-03

I just read an ex sniper and his friend were shot to death while spending an innocent afternoon at a gun range.

IF ONLY SOMEONE HAD BEEN THERE WITH A GUN TO DEFEND THEM!

*eagles shed tears*

catpenis27 - 2013-02-03

What a fuckin' idiot.

jangbones - 2013-02-04

regardless of the goals and function of the NRA, it seems that Wayne here has a little cult of personality built up in his own mind...I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a phone call about once a week from a powerful donor or NRA member "Wayne, I appreciate what you are trying to do, but could you please shut the fuck up once in a while?"

Blue - 2013-02-03

They're actually pushing legislation against gun buybacks. They're literally protecting the guns that have ended up in the hands of people that don't want them.

Those are the fucking guns that get forgotten and get found by curious children. The NRA used to make videos where Eddie Eagle would protect children from guns that had been left forgotten somewhere in the attic and now they're actively trying to defy people's right to get rid of these guns. Their owners don't want them. They're guns that will only end up in the hands of thieves or curious children.

What the fuck is wrong with the NRA? This isn't even in the interests of the gun manufacturers.

Wonko the Sane - 2013-02-03

The NRA gets truck loads of money from gun manufacturers, arms makers are not in the business of buying guns back.

Binro the Heretic - 2013-02-03

Someone said that was just gun sellers hoping to pick up cheap guns at police auctions and resell them for profit.

Of course, based on what can be read online, the hard-core gun nuts, doomsday preppers in particular, really seem to believe there is some plot afoot to take all the guns away from private citizens to make enslavement by the government easier. They live in terror of the day when the manufacture of new guns will be outlawed and want to rely on hoarded weapons to arm themselves against the fascist overlords.

ashtar. - 2013-02-03

The fear and conspiracy paranoia that they used to engender in order to get people to support their agenda has become their agenda.

FABIO - 2013-02-05

5 for the clip and the needle dick gun spaz Gmork whiny bitch rant about his manhood being diminished if he didn't have an assault rifle stuffing his pants.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-02-05

Okay, Fox News is up to 2 people with a mind/spine now, is that what you're saying?
