Oh fuck yes. I don't know where you found this, but it's going to be on my "show everyone I hate this video" playlist.

Also, getting your King to your opponent's home row is something I call the "touchdown rule". The rule is to declare that since you got your King into your opponent's home row, you may declare a touchdown, to which your opponent is obliged to punch you in the face. This rule really makes Chess a great game.

If you have any iOS devices, there's actually quite a few good free chess apps, most have asynchronous play as well.
