This happened to me too years ago when I was trying to take a cat kiss picture for friendster. The cat and I were friends but I was just catsitting and boom right in the eyeball. I still have the scar right under my eye but it's been going away. What was worse is the water was shut off so I just laid face down in the snow outside until the bleeding stopped. I'm so glad she's ok.

And yeah, don't read the YT comments unless you want to buy yourself a new monitor.. I was hoping to find out some info on the girl so I checked, I just hope she has antibiotics because cat scratches can get seriously infected because of the poop they spend most of their time in.

I've had this happen, too, but the claws stuck in my eyebrow nd that saved me. Had a 15 pound guy jump off of a 6 foot high shelf onto my neck and chest while I was taking a bath, too.

Didnt watch. But I also could easily have suffered eye damage to a cat.
When I was about 5 or 6 or something my family took in a pregnant feral cat. After the birth of the kittens it was staying in a cardboard box in our utility room (small room with washing machine and such).
One day my parents were out for a bit and it was just me and my 4 years older sister in the house. I really wanted to see the kittens so I stuck my face up to the opening in the box, the mother cat immediate lashed out and made a decent gash just underneath my left eye. It was bleeding a lot and I was crying and freaking out, and my sister was just, "hey relax its no big deal"
She was right, I was actually totally fine, it healed up (though I still have a scar from it) I was very lucky though, a few millimetres up and it would have been my eye!

Oh there's plenty. When I was a kid I jumped into an empty swimming pool and probably should have died just then, so every day's a happy one. Plenty of accidents and heart breaks and spleen ruptures and etc.

but I'll totally take you up on that beer but only if I can buy you one. :)

My cat managed to rip my contact out of my eye, without harming the eye itself. I was about a millimeter away from having a cathook in the eyejelly.

Mine was the one I described above, and getting punched out by a MMA fighter I was drunk enough to want to fight a few years later after he called my wife a racial slur. I got a few really awesome punches in on MMA douche tho so hopefully he's scarred too. He's on TV now.

Cat couldn't tell what was game and what was real

Mine was an umbrella opening in my face.

When I was 13 and my little sister was 3, she hucked a golf ball at me and hit me right in the left eye.

Mine was from a game of twister. There's a reason why they say to take off your shoes - someone tucked and rolled and caught me right in the eye socket with a boot.

Something like this happened to me once. I was fine. The cat didn't make it.
