I haven't seen it yet, I didn't realize until recently that it was about moon nazis!

The Sarah Pailin bashing is the only thing that I can see as being dated and kinda weak, but the rest of the movie is basically a big budget Red Alert cutscene, complete with Udo Kier. It's much better than people gave it credit for at the time.

You had me at Udo Kier.

Not to mention a soundtrack by Laibach. I think you can still get it on Netflix; highly recommended.

Also, this isn't a spoiler, but it's one of the few films I can think of that genuinely casts some sympathy towards Nazi Youth: Moon Nazis didn't live in a world of conflict, so to them, Nazis = #1 is the same as USA = #1. And just like our (us in the USA)'s textbooks glossed over centuries of Barbarism, just don't look at 12 years and the Nazis don't seem all that bad!

Plus it's really zany, almost in a Blazing Saddles sort of way. I was seeing a girl for a little while and I saw Iron Sky in Netflix and was like "we should watch that.." she was bored quickly and fell asleep and I sort of assumed right then that we wouldn't be a good match in the long run. Tapped it twice tho!

Damnit, no longer on Netflix. They must've had to make room for all the new bullshit that's coming out.. 💩
