We do this every year iirc - it's almost a ritual where we get a chance to tell everyone how much we love each other. Then we get back to hating one another.

It seems likely. People are panicking a little bit like people on a volcanic island. I fully endorse throwing some virgins into the volcano (i.e. making a donation to PoeTV) but it's not going to change the odds of disaster.
