When my dad had dementia he would often start whistling at dogs that weren't there and pointing at nothing and laughing. What a terrible terrible way to go.

The scene from Deadpool where he hallucinates colourful animals was pretty much what my dad lived with for the last year of his life.

My grandfather would fight with his reflection in the window, who he thought was trying to steal his food.

One of the other residents caught my dad trying to steal his hat and my dad responded by beating the shit out of him with his own walker. Then he pissed in some lady's waste paper basket and ate her toothpaste.
