I dont particularly enjoy them but buried amidst all the fluff is 1 to 2 good points. It takes too long though and I feel abused at the end of it.

Most if not all of it can be summarized as a girl, talking about herself.

However I have at times wanted to put to words my own feelings about gender and so I am glad that she does it so I don't.

You're missing out, they're smart video essays. I understand if the thick layers of style don't do it for you, though. They are definitely not "girl, talking about herself" vids. I don't know why Simillion seems to think this is some kind of vlog.

I myself have come to love Contrapoints videos (and am auto-fiving this one), but have no idea when I'll find 1h40m to watch this one. That's a full length movie!

This one, although as good as her usual stuff, is surprisingly self-indulgent. I mean, yeah, she's usually talking about subjects that are near & dear to her, so you could say that they're all self-indulgent. About an hour into she responded to a whole bunch of criticisms often leveled at her, and after like 15 minutes of that, I had to turn it off.

Look lady, I get that you're trying to avoid being a hypocrite & be completely honest & transparent. That's pretty awesome. But I really really don't care about the idiotic criticisms that mouth-breathers hurl at you, let alone your responses to the criticisms.

By the way, pizzamerica, I suspect you'd like this video (before she starts with her criticism responses). She doesn't really try to persuade folks about cancel culture one way or another.... actually, she starts the discussion by talking about both sides have valid points. She then goes on to show how assholes (again, from both sides) will take those valid points & misuse them because they're assholes.

I want to see Contrapoints and Internet Comment Etiquette create a video together.

Maybe I'll watch her someday when I can view it as a relic of twentyteens thought but idk.
