You should listen to NPR's coverage of it. They aren't holding back the jabs at the poor production, the awkward zoom-call ness of the whole thing, they are calling it for what it is too -- an anti-trump message, not really a pro-biden message, but it's still a much more accurate breakdown of anything worth mentioning about the DNC.

If Bernie had won the primary, he totally wouldn’t be cosplaying an outraged Biden moderate now.

Yeah I don't like seeing Bernie get paraded out and humiliated like this. He has never been perfect, but at the end of the day he just wanted this country to be something other than a howling snakepit for people that aren't millionaires, and he has spent years of his life being vilified for it. He deserves better, we all do.

Heroic Crashtar, attacking Bernie to save Bernie

Bernie doesn't need anyone to save him. He's been on the receiving end of insane mounts of abuse, called a Russian traitor on cable news, been labeled a sexist, racist, rape apologist, etc. all just because his people-centered politics threaten the profit margins of the handful of wealthy malefactors that control both political parties.

And here he is yet again doing heavy lifting for a political party where the leadership can't even hide how much they hate him. They turned this entire stupid convention into a rejection of Bernie and the youthful movement behind him. But he still showed up. Because he always has, even decades before anyone noticed.

Anyways, how was the big Colin Powell speech? I missed it. Personally I'm hoping they pull off a surprise and maybe if we're lucky we'll get a speech from Dick Cheney! Whoohoo Democrats 2020!

Well if there's anyone that knows how to skew an economy to the wealthy and well-connected it's that useless asshole. I also like the cynicism of him saying that Republicans can't win on policy when Democrats are running the most vapid, policy-free campaign I've ever seen.
