I am honestly shocked that the mcrib involves a raw meat product and a griddle. I thought it would all be precooked and microwaved.

Cena_mark - 2022-10-26

A lot McDonalds is more authentic then people might think. I knew someone who thought the eggs were fake or shipped in precooked, but they're cooked from fresh eggs, just in a mold to keep them that shape. Just pierce the yoke and it spreads out some.

According to a friend that used to work there, the real eggs in a ring mold are called "round eggs" at the restaurant, whereas the other kinds, that are usually a rectangle, are those pre-beaten eggs in a carton, and known as PEW. Processed egg whites or something? I forget what it stands for.

So many paleo bros freaking out on Twitter about this. Humans have been eating processed meat as long as we've had meat to eat. The dismal fact about so much health faddism is this somewhat delusional belief that not only is physical immortality possible, but living to be 100 years old is a blessing, rather than a hideous daily agony.

Highly processed food -IS- scientifically bad for you.

Paleo is a stupid fad but it’s not a harmful one…just a healthy diet with stupid woo-woo exceptions.

Spike Jonez - 2022-10-27

Paleo isn't healthy

cognitivedissonance - 2022-10-27

Of course Paleo isn't healthy! Otherwise we'd be seeing IMMORTAL CAVEMEN!

SolRo - 2022-10-27

“ A modern paleo diet includes fruits, vegetables, lean meats, fish, eggs, nuts and seeds.” -Mayo Clinic

I’m not seeing the unhealthy part in that list.

It’s a weird diet based on a stupid premise but it’s not harmful to health

cognitivedissonance - 2022-10-27

Hey Solro, the sky is blue.

Expecting you to argue vociferously that it is, in fact, orange.

SolRo - 2022-10-27

Then keep your fucking mouth shut if you don’t want any discussion.

The paleo diet makes absurd claims because the paleolithic age was from 2.5 million - 12,000 years ago. That's a wide range of diets world wide. Most paleo dieters won't eat beans because "they're not paleo." This is absurd on two levels. One, it's silly to dismiss a healthy food because it doesn't fit into this fad. Two, legumes have been consumed by humans for at least 20,000 years, so it can be considered "paleo." Perhaps it's just that they go for a Euro-centered (white) definition paleo and middle-eastern and South American paleolithic people's diets don't matter.

The only thing I'm shocked and appalled at is the length of the drive-thru line after this video inspired me to go to McDonalds.
