Because it's funny.

Honestly I like this show in spite of the host. Him and his friends are mostly Chapo style "both parties are just as bad" dirtbags. He's also a gun nut who thinks the 2nd amendment is enshrined and holy. The guests and cohosts are usually unfunny, and the producer Sophie is the kind of person who collects quirks and fetishes in lieu of a personality.

But the info and research presented is entertaining and informative. I do wish they had a better delivery though.

The only good guests I've heard are Cody and Katie from Some More News. They're in all the Ben Shapiro episodes.

The guests are hit and miss. It's usually better when he has a comedian who just makes jokes rather than someone who tries to add facts. Jamie Loftus is great.
