Amazing. Seems like they just need a quieter air compressor when it's on the road. Maybe they don't want it sneaking up on them.

The sound it makes has a lot to do with it, but it really does look like a giant mutated housefly.

HAHAHA!! I was not prepared to see someone KICK the leafblower-powered AT-AT. I laughed so hard I think a little snot came out.

First thought that popped into mind was that I wanted one of these things at every hardcore music concert. Instead of a mosh pit, you get a very robust one of these things, tie it to a stake, and just have a circle of people kicking it like a chained robotic mule or something.

Then I saw ice-skating robot donkey thing take a dive and I know for sure I blew snot. And then the prancing robot equestrian track.

The kick and the ice thing are, in my opinion, pretty mind blowing considering how fragile self-stabilizing technology was only a few years ago.

that's true but if they perhaps tried to make it more like a robot, and less like a cutesy anime spaceman they would have had more success.

I mean I think part of why this thing is so impressive is, I mean it looks like a headless metal goat out of hell.

The slipping on ice shot made me queasy. Also; why do I feel an empathetic response when someone kicks a robot, and does it make me more or less human?

5 stars for the recovery on ice. You'd think the thing would be top-heavy carrying 340 pounds, but it didn't go down. Impressive.
