Hey, I love the Dresden Files and Hitch Hiker's. I can't tell what the book in the middle is though.

It's the first book in Robert Jordan's literary experiment where he attempted to apply Zeno's Paradox of motion to plot progression. Sadly but unsurprisingly, he died before the series could be finished.

I've read it, but wouldn't want to be filmed on camera sleeping next to it.

Five stars for the best/most accurate description of WoT evar.
Those books stole the life of a friend of mine. He's read the entire series (thusfar) through seven times.

Five stars for evil, minus five stars for trying to impress people by strategically placing your books next to the alarm.

Not as effective as setting a timer so a vacuum cleaner goes off next to your face in the morning

Klaxon alarm clock.

minus one star for not realistically portraying what would happen, which is you would end up sticking your hand and/or fingers into the spinning top during that long time it takes to get going

that thing would be utterly destroyed the first morning in my home
