Pff!! FAKE!!
I saw Deep Impact and it looked NOTHING like this. Who do these "scientists" think they're fooling?

Ursa_minor - 2008-06-25

Yeah what kinda fuckin' degree do you need to drop a fuckin' ball bearing into some sand and shit? Scientists? More like FAGS.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-06-25

This video has an unmitigated factor of Coolness. The sand looks like it has a mind of its own.

gambol - 2008-06-25

Very, very cool.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-06-25

The more frames you have per-second, the cooler it is.

NoCode - 2008-06-25

Needs a worm sign tag.

dichotic1 - 2008-06-25

seems a little viscous for sand. where the heck did the ball go?

fluffy - 2008-06-25

video delivers what was advertised

Stupid Lisa Garbage Face - 2008-06-25

I saw a ball falling INTO sand, not IN sand. Dissapointing

Camonk - 2008-06-25

Plus I thin that ball might have been steel.

Camonk - 2008-06-25

Oh man after the title change, I am completely glad I gave this five stars! A++++ would watch again!

Contact, is the secret, is the moment, when everything happens, Contact.

Shion - 2008-06-25

Holy crap, I've totally forgotten how much I loved that show.

Thank you Ersatz!

dementomstie - 2008-06-26

But that was water. Would the rocket ship still take off if it was sand? We may never know.

Wonko the Sane - 2008-06-26

SCIENCE

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2008-06-26

Not totally dissimilar to a mushroom cloud.

Syd Midnight - 2009-04-08

It's not a good crater simulation because the sand grains are too large. You need a pan full of flour to get cool moon-style craters.
