This was the most suspenseful thing I had ever seen in my life when I first saw this and it ate up every single day for months wondering what would happen to Jean Luc. I was so worried I actually prayed that he would be okay and not a Borg forever.

Yeah, I recorded both episodes of this when I was a kid, I probably still have that tape somewhere. "DO NOT RECORD OVER THIS" written in pen on the label over the erased pencil marks describing whatever old Ninja Turtle episode I had taped over.
Exactly. The Borg were fucking terrifying the first two episodes of TNG they appeared in. But by the time Voyager came around, Borg cubes could be blown up with a stifled sneeze.
