Actually it's described as "interdimensional travelers that go between universes" but Lucas did want to title this movie "Indiana Jones and the Saucer Men from Mars".

When I heard that I immediately had this visual in my head of a pained and embarrassed Speilberg trying to tell him how to make this movie at least marginally not shitty.
