Please don't be that person.
What does the breed of the dog have to do with it? You know something about pitbull dicks slum? Educate us as to how their dicks are different from another breed's dick. Here's your chance to shine.
Sure. Pitbulls rape boys in their ass with their dicks. That's probably the main difference.
We used to say how they just have a bad reputation until ours attacked us.
The worst part was that I was a kid and believed the whole "he's going to a farm" story, which my parents had fleshed out in lurid detail. Then one day I was joking about some dog going to a farm upstate and my soul crumpled up like a soda can.
1. Pitbulls are just as good as any other breed as pets, because there are no breeds that are inherently violent. Just like humans are not inherently violent, because there is no "violence gene".
2. Pitbulls *are* bred to be strong, and therefore many people adopt them because they're assholes and want either a vicious guard dog or a fighting dog, and when they don't behave the way those owners want them to, the owners beat them and mistreat them, which leads the dog to grow aggressive and violent. Basically, the same thing can happen to humans. You could also do this to a golden retriever or a black lab.
3. If you have a child and a dog (any dog, even a goddamned dachshund), don't fucking leave the child within reach of the dog and leave the room, you fucking dipshit. A dog doesn't have to be predisposed to violence or aggression for this to be a really bad idea.
4. I thought this wouldn't have to be explained to you, poetv.
Anyway, also what spoonybard said down there.
You can absolutely breed animals to be violent. You'd be surprised at the sort of things that can be bred. Shepherding ability, even. Everything you said was true, but I have since you seem to be implying that because all individuals are different, it is impossible for pit bulls to statistically be more likely to be violent. I don't agree with that.
Well I'm not exactly saying that it's impossible for certain breeds of dogs to be statistically more violent than others, in fact I mean to acknowledge that, but point out that it's not due to them being genetically disposed to attack and kill everything, right from birth. I'll concede that genes could be *involved*, in that a dog might be born with a certain temperament which increases its risk to be influenced by the environment in such a way that causes the dog to become violent. I left that part out of my initial rant. I merely want people to make the distinction between any animal's behavior being predetermined by its heritage alone, as opposed to specific behavior arising as a result of multiple factors which are not all within the animal's control. "Nature + Nurture" and all that.
So, you can adopt a pit bull, which could be temperamentally more prone to becoming violent given the right (or wrong) conditions, and treat it with compassion the way any domesticated animal *should* be treated, and the chances of it attacking and/or killing someone drop dramatically (there's always a chance of any animal becoming violent randomly, or for unseen reasons). Unfortunately many people adopt pit bulls because of their reputation as violent dogs, and impose their own expectations on them, which can cause them to fulfill the stereotypical pit bull role.
I get worked up over this sometimes because my friend had one bad (but not violent) experience with a couple pit bulls many years ago and still rants about how all pit bulls should be euthanized.

"Since the attack, over 20 people have called the SPCA asking to adopt the pitbull. Chief Merritt says it'll likely be up to a judge to decide what happens to the dog after the investigation is complete."
i would stay the fuck away from a place if it was guarded by a pack of rape dogs.

"Some neighbors saw what was happening and were able to come over and hold the dog and kind of beat it off. The child."

"It was brought in after it allegedly attacked and sodomized a 2 year old boy."

'Innocent dog of peace' is now my favourite poeTV thing. I won't say meme - let's just call it a thing.
Yes, all the credit for the name goes to Mr Rizzo.

So...I'm guessing the lady left her "unfixed" pitbull in a room with her naked toodler? Is that something people do?
I meant "toddler."
But now I like "toodler."
