This somehow simultaneously improves and ruins Happy Happy Joy Joy for me.
I had constructed some sort of scenario of his going insane over a family member's mixed marriage, and now it's gone. All gone.
I'd recognized that the guy on the record sleeve was Burl Ives. Maybe that's why this doesn't ruin it for me. I recognized the face from his "Sam Snowman" character.
