jesus christ look at that thing.

Hooper_X - 2010-01-15

pretty much the only contenders with the garbage plate as "best thing to come out of rochester" are that house of guitars ad with the ramones and also my wife.

The Mothership - 2010-01-14

Nice to see them eating that hideousness with a fork AND knife; truly civilized.

kiint - 2010-01-14

nummy!

dr tits - 2010-01-14

oh god that made me hungry ... i want one!

fatatty - 2010-01-14

They're really not that good. But when you're drunk they are amazing. 5 for the memories.

Camonk - 2010-01-14

I was actually going to comment about how much they look like the ideal drunk-off-your-ass food. God, I can't even imagine how good that thing would be with a bellyful of whiskey.

Syd Midnight - 2010-01-15

We're still way behind the UK in that department

boner - 2010-01-14

POE has taught me that Rochester is a despicable city except for the record shops.

saganaki - 2010-01-14

Living in the wilds of Canada, the Fox affiliate our cable company carried was the Rochester station.

I must say, it's a city with some great local ads, and a flavour all its own. That the garbage plate would come from there doesn't surprise me at all.

The Townleybomb - 2010-01-14

Once I almost went to Rochester basically just because I wanted one of these.

Sacks5thAvenButt - 2010-01-14

I think I puked that last week

Stopheles - 2010-01-14

Doesn't look like it could carry beef-on-wick's bags to the gym.

Syd Midnight - 2010-01-15

I just wiki'd beef-on-weck and damn that does that look good

Stopheles - 2010-01-15

Forgot to add stars for what must be the the inspiration behind the KFC Failure Bowl.

Beef-on-wick/weck (wick in Buffalo, weck in Batavia, I think) is pretty much the best sandwich. I was psyched to find a place in Brooklyn that serves it, but might just get a recipe for the special rolls so I can make it at home and become fat and horseradish-redolent.

joelkazoo - 2010-12-30

That beef-on-weck does look delicious!

Ocyrus - 2010-01-14

5 stars for Mark Summers and a garbage plate. Brings back some fond memories of throwing them up.

StanleyPain - 2010-01-14

That looks fucking good. I know that's un-PC of me.

theSnake - 2010-01-14

Heres the recipe in case you want to make this at home:
ingredientsL
everything in the pantry
directions:
fry it up bro

Chalkdust - 2010-01-14

"GAR-bage plate!"

"Huh? NO!"

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-01-14

God damn it, Chalkdust.

You've made me look bad.

glasseye - 2010-01-15

Brilliant!

A friend of mine makes these in a bonfire by wrapping up whatever stuff is available in tinfoil and stuffing the wad-o-food in the coals until it's done. Surprisingly good drunk food.

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-01-14

GARBAGE PLATE!

humbert_humbert - 2010-01-14

This is the worst looking show I've ever seen a clip from.

"Why would he name it after ... trash?"

zatojones - 2010-01-14

I bet Marc Summers scrubbed himself raw after shooting this segment

Infamous - 2010-01-14

Honestly, the thing looks terrible but it is delicious.

badideasinaction - 2010-01-14

Gimme donair poutine over that any day, but I'm sure it's awesome when drunk.

Raggamuffin - 2010-01-15

Mark Summers little laugh to himself just before the cut, and Nicks thousand yard stare.

mashedtater - 2010-01-15

i would eat it, but i am the daughter of the son of a butcher and germans.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-01-15

I haven't eaten beef in over 15 years and I'm drooling. Dammit, internet.
