The chinese in this ad look like they really have it together. They are healthy and attractive looking, and obviously well organized and wise. Seems like it wouldn't be so bad to work for them.

This just in - apparently the right believes China's political/economic model is the key to prosperity.

This is exactly how nations work out their outstanding debt with each other.

Just like on those old sitcoms where characters didn't have any money to pay their for their dinner at some fancy restaurant and they had to spend the night washing dishes.

So, the message this ad sends is that, in the near future, the American system will have crashed and burned and the Chinese system will be stronger than ever.

And the message this ad wants me to take from that is that we need to stand up for the American system and resist changes that would make us more like the Chinese.

Also, how does this "working for the Chinese" thing play out, exactly? Do they buy all our flags and then we all become employees of China, Inc? Or is it more of a thing where they roll out the tanks and conquer us and we can't resist because Obama took our guns? How many assault robots will there be? This sci-fi distopia leaves too many unanswered questions.

This ad is stupid, everyone knows all the great countries in history have collapsed because they overreached trying to build an empire they couldn't sustain. As we all know, the previous sentence in no way describes us or what we are doing.
