As one of the greatest pre-release detractors(read: irate fanboy) of deus ex 3, my opinion has changed considerably since actually playing it. I do however believe the game could have been greatly improved by trading out the boring AI construct subplot for something much more like this.

Besides if there were really a race of Reptillian overlords, what in the hell makes you think that they'd randomly shapeshift in and out on TV? If they are that advanced, they should be able to keep a solid form for the thirty seconds they are seen on the TV at a time.

The theory has been advanced that the Earth is moving into an area of the solar system heavy in magnetic interference which means looser control on both shapeshifting and their interventions on Earth. The result can be seen in events such as the arab spring, an open rebellion against reptilian control.
