What took security so long to remove him?

TeenerTot - 2015-06-25 They were busy with their Colombian hookers and blow.
simon666 - 2015-06-25 It's been the President's M.O. to see if he can quiet the person down, giving the person a second chance, before having security get involved. Pretty reasonable.

"Shortly after the incident, an immigration group claimed the protestor was an undocumented immigrant named Jennicet Gutiérrez, who is transgender. According to a press release, Gutiérrez was a founding member of FAMILIA TQLM, established to advocate for LGBTQ immigrants who the group says are often excluded in the immigration debate."
So.. (insert racist joke here)?

Technically it's not Obama's house, it belongs to the Federal government which belongs collectively to US citizens, which means that the heckler, assuming he is a citizen, also owns it. Theoretically.
Old_Zircon - 2015-06-25 Never mind, just read IZ's post above, apparently this person isn't a citizen?
In that case, ICEBURN, Mr. President!
Old_Zircon - 2015-06-25 Also the preload screen is great.
Old_Zircon - 2015-06-25 Though a crowd chanting a president's name is creepy in any context.
gravelstudios - 2015-06-25 I assumed he was saying "my house" in the same sense that I might say "my apartment". I don't own my apartment, but it's my still my home, and if someone came into my apartment yelling crazy at me, I would tell them the same thing.
infinite zest - 2015-06-26 With the context it's a bit like when Kanye West told everyone to stand up not realizing that a few people could physically not. My problem with that was not the intention (if you play enough shows you should know that every auditorium has ADA seating though) but the "I don't give a shit" reaction following. Hopefully Obama issues an apology as this is not heckling, but rather someone trying to make their voice heard from a very overlooked and underspoken community.

TheSupafly - 2015-06-25
The "O-BAM-AH" chanting was pretty nauseating despite this.
Spaceman Africa - 2015-06-26
Obama and his chanting supporters shooting down a civil rights activist. 5 for evil.
Spaceman Africa - 2015-06-26 Well someone shouting at Obama about LGBT immigration rights and someone shouting something racist at him are kinda two very different things.
Bort - 2015-06-26 I see -- so Obama's ability to conduct a press conference should be dependent upon whether you agree with the heckler.
