That's not a slingshot.

Old_Zircon - 2015-12-17

The seconds between when he first starts the motor and when hits the gelatin are probably the most nervous I've ever seen him look.

I really wish he'd put on some safety gear.. at the very least some eye and neck protection. My health and safety training wont let me enjoy this.

Bort - 2015-12-17

Yeah, this one was pretty rough that way. Most of his videos involve projectiles where, if something catastrophic happens, it's more likely to happen 25 ft (8m) away from him. This one, though, all I could imagine was blades shattering or detaching, and choosing a random Jörgward trajectory.

oddeye - 2015-12-17

I'd like some badass scars on my face or whatever but losing my eyes or having my nose cut off... not so much.

Crab Mentality - 2015-12-17

That's all I was thinking the whole time I watched the video. That think looks dangerous as hell for the user.

And this is why no-one will remember your names.

Hail Jorgchilles, champion of Youtube.

I imagine there's a reason weed whackers don't use metal blades...probably something to do with metal fatigue and wrongful death lawsuits.

Whereas the officially approved plastic cable is unlikely to do more than leave a tiny welt.

You know what else is suprrising? Dremel cutting tools. I've had the misfortune of one of those cutting blades flying off and hitting me, but it just bounced off: those blades have so little mass, they can't really hurt you, unless if they hit you directly in the eye perhaps.

Old_Zircon - 2015-12-20

You can buy serrated plastic blades for these things, I assume they're light enough that if they shatter they won't do much harm.

I'd take any of this stuff over a broken piano string, though.

I wish my trimmer started up that easily.
