Back in my high school band days we had the bullet dodged version of it.

We sat down for our round of judging. Two songs.

At least one section of the band got the two pieces reversed we were supposed to play, and on starting the entire band came to a crashing halt in about 10 seconds as both groups assumed they must have gotten it wrong.

We thought we were screwed, then the judges walked in and it turned out we were still on the prep time.

We played the right first piece as a whole and got a B grade because we were still a relatively shitty band by high school standards.
