It suffers from being developed by larian, but they managed to still make it mostly great. There's a laundry list of problems and things to fix, but it's both fun enough and extensive enough to offset that
I played the shit out of it until I got to chapter 3 and then suddenly the urge to play completely left my body.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I havent touched it since and have felt no desire to.. I even tried playing it a bit (to finish it) but didnt have fun.
I've read several accounts of people with the exact same reaction. As for me, Chapter 3 was probably my favorite chapter, and I'm in the middle of my second play-through. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
