Actually this is a really good satire of modern hip-hop. While hip-hop originally was a powerful voice for the black community, modern hip-hop is nothing more than this self congratulating absurdity: "Look at me, I'm on a boat" sums it up pretty well.
the whole joke behind every lonely island song isn't the lyrics but the fact that a few nerdy white dudes can produce a track that in a normal context could pass for the real thing. they're making fun of how superficial most popular music genres are, not trying to make clever songs
