Realism is for nancylads and delicate, violet-scented pussywillows.

detc - 2009-04-16 Hell, who needs realism when you're flying through the air in a burning car filled with Koreans?

From 0:21 on it becomes amazing.

I like to think that's a French car alarm.
Not as mind blowing as the STALKER car glitch, but more amusing.

Definitely a mod, since Rockstar removed the "fun" physics from the game before release.

Aside from the 'hallo's, that... was AWESOME.

|
Cleaner82 - 2009-04-16 I dunno about that. But I will say they give the whole thing a delightfully wierd vibe.

If this had been the game, I would have liked it.

We did a similr thing on battlefield 1942
We put rocket engines on the back of a german volkswagen jeep thingy and made right click thrust, and the behavior of the vehicle in this video is SPOT ON to the kind of shit that would happen.
However, it was even harder than this to stay alive. We even jacked up the vehicles health and made it out of tougher materials (1942 has a stupid material types system for determining what you can/cant do without exploding)
Man, as a game editor I can tell you theres nothing more fun than totally and completely bugfucking an engine and making it do shit its not really supposed to. Or just shit like this that should be possible anyways.
What fun is a physics-y game engine if Joe Schmoe cant edit it? I want a thousand beachball throwing dwarves jumping off of buildings and randomly catching fire. I want squirrels jumping into force fields and being flung off into the troposphere. I WANT A FLYING TANK

I must say that when the guy exiting the car started screaming, my first thought was "Sam Kinison? Huh. I didn't think he died like this, but I'm glad he lost some weight before he went."

For some reason, the body slamming the chainlink fence with a realistic, yet subtle "clink!" makes this.
