Well considering how delusional and ignorant he is, I wouldn't be surprised if everyday life to him is like a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book he wrote using the blood of a small South Korean boy.
This scared the shit out of me, but yeah Korean food is awesome. There was this place in Milwaukee that had the best Bibembap (?) and they always gave me a deal because I apparently looked like a South Korean celebrity. Also Korean Tacos.
Years of isolation have left their propaganda with a weird simplicity. "Here are a variety of delicious foods enjoyed by North Koreans of all social levels, who have certainly not been dying of starvation or anything of that nature."
I saw documentary where a Westerner visiting Pyong Yang noticed that when they brought him to the hotel's dining room for dinner they would set all the tables and server food to all of them even though he was literally the only one eating. After he left he watched the same servers reenter the room and clean it all up. North Korea is the nation-state version of a malignant narcissist: completely unable to understand the evil it does while at the same time desperate that no one think of it as doing evil.
Plus they pick up all the plates again in order to re-put them out some other day that someone shows up, and they do it because they want to show outsiders that the "rumor" that there is no food is simply ridiculous
