chumbucket - 2010-10-06
I haven't watched SNL in ages, do they still do their opener in this lame fashion?
Caminante Nocturno - 2010-10-06
Tim & Eric get upset when people point out how terrible they are.

MagickPoultry - 2010-10-06
Dang! I guess it's still too sophisticated for me.

Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2010-10-06
ugh
Charles - 2010-10-06
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Nope, Tim and Eric are still terrible. And so is SNL. Seriously, what kind of "comedians" automatically think there must be something seriously wrong with people who do not laugh at their jokes?
Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2010-10-06 not getting that they are deliberately reaching for terrible
ugh

FeeFiFoFoTheFifeFifeBrown - 2010-10-06 People all OUTRAGED at the suggestion they might not have a very good sense of humor.
Time to dash off an angry letter to Autism-Asperger's Digest Magazine.
Charles - 2010-10-06 I completely get what it is, and I get that I am not expected to get it OR think its funny since I don't like Tim and Eric. This is the same amount of "funny" as all of their other childish bathroom humor.
glasseye - 2010-10-07 Yawn, still not funny.
WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2010-10-06
The only thing worse than terrible non-comedy is terrible non-comedy whose fans swear that it's not terrible, you're just too dumb to get it or you're too offended to see their brilliance.
Rovin - 2010-10-06
I don't give a crap about the "Tim and Eric are bad/good/bad/good/BAD!/GOOD!" debate, that SNL intro has always been lame and it's nice to see it get made fun of.
citrusmirakel - 2010-10-06 Yeah. FINALLY someone has tackled that subject.

Glad to know they're still considered underground niche hipster comedy garbage, that's the way I like it.

SolRo - 2010-10-06
I like how early morning the rating was low, then as the stoners started waking up around 10am the rating went up.
oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2010-10-06 god you moron. Yeah, and all those people who liked Monty Python in the 60s and early 70s (just to name the show that most closely resembles this one in style of humor) were high on LSD, too.
Hooker - 2010-10-06 I love how Tim and Eric invariably gets compared to fucking Monty Python by its defenders. Tim and Eric has zero cultural impact.
Charles - 2010-10-06 The flaw in this argument is as follows:
Monty Python= actually knew what the fuck they were doing.
Bored - 2010-10-07 Oswald, for a guy that likes to go on about shit that doesn't matter, you fail to understand the difference between absurdist humor (Monty Python) and surrealist humor (Tim and Eric). They aren't even in the same category.
Hooker - 2010-10-07 Yes. poeTV: the vanguard of North American popular culture.
CornOnTheCabre - 2010-10-08 uh, we aren't the vanguard of North American popular culture, but if you haven't noticed, we are pretty steeped in it
if Tim and Eric had NO CULTURAL IMPACT, then there'd be no way arguing whether it sucked or not could've supported itself for this long
Hooker - 2010-10-10 Perhaps you're taking "zero" literally and missing the point?
CornOnTheCabre - 2010-10-20 so what you're basically trying to say is that Tim and Eric is incomparable to Monty Python because it has "some" cultural impact
Udderdude - 2010-10-06
They might as well make their slogan, "At least we're not Dane Cook".
FABIO - 2010-10-06 Which would be ironic considering they're to hipsters and stoners what Dane Cook is to bros.
FABIO - 2010-10-06
Seriously guys, I know you hate The Mundanes and everything, but this just isn't funny.
Mickerus - 2010-10-06
These stars are for the fucking neverending Tim and Eric: Funny or Random Stoner Bullshit debate.
Smellvin - 2010-10-06
I love Tim and Eric. Their sketches aren't all that funny, but the sheer anger and hatred directed at them amuses me. They, in a very round-about way end up entertaining me.

I'm 5 starring the hilariously epic hopper war over this video. If I remember right, both sides had 10+ votes.
Also, this made me laugh.

I have nothing to contribute.
Riskbreaker - 2010-10-06
Here's the thing, liking tim and eric is one thing, trying to pass them as comedy genius is a very very different thing. Also, there has to be better ways to start poetv wars.

Tim and Eric are either geniuses going in the wrong direction, or they're just two guys who have worked out that they don't actually have to give a shit to make a living, which is genius. I don't hate them, I just don't find their show funny when they are on the show. Other people on the show is always good for some reason. Some weird old people singing 'this is the song of the things I like' works out to be better than anything where Tim and Eric show up. It might be because they always have that "I don't really care if you laugh at this, I don't even want to be here" look on their faces.
