So spot on that when I was with a girl and her parents watching this in a theater, I laughed at this part. No one else was amused by this or my own amusement. Also, Kate Winslet with no shirt was also entertaining to a young lad such as myself at the time.
I worked at a theatre when this was playing and
after every show there was at least 4 people talking overly loud "Am I the only one that thought that was funny?!?"
No, there was around 150 other people who laughed as well but somehow you think you think you're the only one
And for added geekiness, I was impressed that Cameron and/or his FX people managed to actually get the black levels on the tuxedos and cast shadows to match the background.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, go watch Star Trek the Next Generation and see Picard stand in front of the viewscreen when its' showing space.
