My job at seventeen was at an Incredible Universe that had a wall of these 3DO games they couldn't sell. The one that featured Dennis Miller on the cover sticks out particularly in my mind. Then the store went bankrupt and they laid me off the day after Christmas with no warning. First eviction notice. Memories.
The mid to late 90s were such a horrible time for games. As soon as the FMV craze died down it was replaced with the 3D craze where it would look like shit compared to 2D till around 2000.
I'm pretty sure the only reason two people can't occupy the same square is because that would somehow break the awesome "Your character is rolling the cyberdie" scene.
