One of the less-obvious reasons I miss "old SIMPSONS" is that the animators weren't afraid to go "off-model" like when Burns opens his mouth in this clip.
"New SIMPSONS", especially in the digital ink-and-paint era, is "on model" all the time and everything looks so sterile and lifeless compared to the classic era.
Reminds me of the vacant look Homer had on his face in 'Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie' while he was sitting on the couch with a Duff explaining to Marge that Bart could be both a Supreme Court Justice and a male stripper like Earl Warren. His expression kills me and I can't say they ever drew his face like that at any other time in the entire series
It's not the greatest moment ever, but in context, it is quite funny.
Anyone know what the YT nerds are fighting about? Opera keeps fucking up the comment blocks; all I can gather is it's something about The Big Bang Theory and IQ tests.
I have no clue, I just thought it was awesome that a 3 second clip of a guy saying "Yes" spiraled so out of control into comments about what makes an accurate IQ test and whatever the fuck.
Twelve seconds after the Illuminati programmed six hundred sixty six million people to respond as Machurian candidates to the word "yes," a lone scientist raised their hand and asked the obvious question.
Three hundred facepalms later, YouTube explodes into chaos ending the 50,000 Year Plan.
