It was Jerry Seinfeld cashing in his one blank check with the entertainment industry.

Judging by the flat, boring animation and design even the animators couldn't pretend to give a shit.

Lordy, that's exactly what it is.

Nobody involved, on any level, could bother to give a shit.

Why couldn't they have made him a bee like Bee Larry King?

Then he would have been called Bee Sting! And it would have made this movie slightly less worthless.

Just to clarify, it's not so-horrible-it's-good, or even sure-it's-horrible-but-man-you-gotta-see-this-trainwreck.

Bee Movie is just flat out horrible. The cold, boring, instantly forgettable sort of horrible that leaves you with no concrete memories of the experience, just vague feelings of rage and helplessness.

There's a lot to love, but I think that was my favorite bit.

That's not even scratching the surface of how weird this movie is. Not only does he take control of the plane, the plane is at the same time being carried by a swarm of other bees, guiding it to land on another swarm of bees making a flower pattern on the ground with some sort of synchronized aerobics, while shouting "Thinking BEE! Thinking BEE!"

And the woman leaves her boyfriend (husband?) of seven years for Seinfeld Bee.

During the trial, Seinfeld Bee refers to the human-controlled bee colonies as "work camps."

And mosquitoes are black people.

I really hope this costs Jerry Seinfeld any future pet projects he comes up with.

Everything about this is a complete disaster to film.
