To those wondering; this game is so much fun. I've been playing the hell out of it since I got it. Everything about the game from the soundtrack to the awesome 'Winners don't do drugs!' cutscne is delicious 80s cheese, done so right it's not even funny.
My favorite thing about the game is that it really lets me play how I like. As much as I enjoyed Far Cry 3, it really, really wanted you to focus on stealth. A sneaky base capture was worth 3-15 times the ammount of XP, depending on how well you did, often leaving me to reload any time I'd set off an alarm. In Blood Dragon, charging in headfirst with a shotgun or minigun is a completely valid strategy, and at the end of the day, won't leave you hurting for XP or levels before the game ends.
In Short, the game is a blast to play, feels much more open, and is practically overflowing with pure 80s goodness. It's well worth the if you own FC3 already, and honestly, I'd even recomend picking FC3 up during a sale to be able to play it.

RocketBlender - 2013-05-02 Forgot to mention; a lot of critics are whining that the game's 6-10 hours is way too short for it's price. (I'm just shy of 8 and not done yet, but I'm a bit of a completionist.) I really don't understand the complaint. No one seems to whine when Bioware puts out a single mission for , or CoD sells you 4 maps for (or ONE Zombie map for 20, or shit, the fact the the entire campaign of your game is like 4 hours.), so why is too much for a 6+ hour adventure that reskins and remakes everything?

I'm only about 15 minutes into this game, but since everyone loves it, I'm just going to play it safe and say I hate it and that it's stupid so I can be first.
