Hello, hello, how are you? A question:

Is a unicorn with wings still a unicorn or is it a pegasus, since these probably have existed in folklore since before the unicorns? If it is a hybrid, what is its name?

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-09-17

I consulted google on this and saw pegacorn, unisus, alicorn, and many, many MLP fanarts.

Then I decided I needed to re-think my life.

EvilHomer - 2013-09-17

A unicorn with wings is an alicorn. And they are terrible, terrible creatures.

Spastic Avenger - 2013-09-17

Alicorn is processed or powdered 'unicorn' (mostly narwhal) horn. It was thought to have supernatural poison/evil neutralising properties and goblets were frequently made from slices of it. The throne of Denmark was made from unicorn horn for a similar reason, so that all that emanated from it would be purified.

Ahem.

So when will the ponies declare that Jihad is Magic on Denmark?

EvilHomer - 2013-09-17

Please. Princess Celestia doesn't declare holy wars on countries merely because they've committed crimes against horsemanity. If she did, her war machine would be involved in every nation on earth, including her own!

No, Equestria only invades countries when those countries are rich in apples. Denmark's apple reserves are meager at best, so they are safe. For now.

There's a WordGirl episode ("Chuck the Nice Pencil-Selling Guy") where Becky and Violet have an argument over whether a horse with wings and a horn is a "unisus" or a "pegacorn". Violet eventually settles on "Pegasussicorn".

That I regularly watch a cartoon meant to teach vocabulary to tweens tells you something about me.

That a cartoon trying to teach vocabulary to tweens is my favorite out of several children's cartoons I watch daily I think is a little more distressing.

But at least, to my knowledge, there isn't an organized WordGirl fandom composed mostly of grown men.

Homer ruins every fucking video on this site that he posts on.

Need to hear and see this on bad batteries.
