This guy needs to get straight with the right Reverend Billy and try some more joyous hymns on the sheep.

Jack Dalton - 2013-11-28

They should be buying gold and shopping on Amazon--idiot
Zombie sheeple.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2013-11-28

These people deserve the train horn.

memedumpster - 2013-11-28

Just like Anthrocon and Gathering of the Juggalos, counting the dead this coming Saturday is a true poe tradition.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-11-28

I await my trample videos in 12 to 24 hours. Get on it fellas.

kamlem - 2013-11-28

You're siding with Mark Dice? Really?

People work night shift to produce everything sold in that store, whichever time it's open.

Waiting to 5 star a trample video.

RocketBlender - 2013-11-28

I have no idea who that is.

kamlem - 2013-11-28

You should add the Mark Dice tag.

RocketBlender - 2013-11-28

... wow.

I still think Black Friday is a criminal act, however.

kamlem - 2013-11-28

I tend to agree. Where I lived we had a referendum a few years ago on extended shopping hours and I voted No on the ballot. The less people have to work unsociable hours, the better (I'm currently a shift worker myself).

I guess this is a 5 star video if you look at it for the perspective of an orderly group of people wanting to give less money to corporations and more to their savings account being yelled at by a lunatic that thinks their time would be better spent obsessing over the illuminati.

infinite zest - 2013-11-29

I've worked Black Fridays (and worse, actually- Maxwell Street Days in Madison Wisconsin is literally hell to work) and have worked more Christmases and Thanksgivings in my 31 years on this earth than I have not. I've never gone to one of these things because at this point I'm scared shitless of standing in ANY line, but hey- there's this particular bike I want at the low low price of ,999 and if there was a sale where it was 0, you bet your frozen ass I'd be in that number. If people desire something, they deserve to purchase it. If it's at a lower cost, then more power. The employees may be pissed off that they have to work, but this crowd in particular seemed incredibly cordial.

So.. ten stars to everyone working graveyard, black friday, cyber monday, whateverthefuck.. zero stars to the fuckwad yellin' at the "sheeple." I hope you never breed, because then you'll understand what saving on some new "Chinese-made toys" your seven, ten, and 13 year old kids want for Christmas really means.

memedumpster - 2013-11-29

Oh come on, they're not buying food here, they're buying blinking plastic bullshit to go onto Facebook and gloat over. They will do this while willing to fuck over everyone around them to get it. They deserve way more ridicule than this, which is why trampling vids are so satisfying.

Spaceman Africa - 2013-11-29

Fuckin consumerist pigs with their Twitter machines and iThings. I'm angry at something!

Oscar Wildcat - 2013-11-29

It's like the running of the bulls in Spain. It's worth a few goreings for the celebration and the spectacle.

Sexy Duck Cop - 2013-11-28

Yelling blanket insults at middle-class people trying to save money isn't heroic. It's called being a Redditor. You praise videos trying to expose the abuses of the wealthy and the plight of the poor, but when you see some random middle-class people trying to get a deal on some Christmas gifts, they're suddenly consumerist capital whore sheeple?

Fucking grow up.

Dr Robot - 2013-11-28

This is portal of evil though. We're looking at this as some banal evil here, a lunatic raving at people minding their own business. Reddit might preach, but I'm here five starring cause I love idiot blowhards making fools of themselves while blithely convinced their pious or doing something IMPORTANT

EvilHomer - 2013-11-29

Yeah, this is pretty reprehensible. As bad as Black Friday can be, what Mr Dice is doing here is just asinine - people go to Black Friday sales to *save* money, so why he is criticizing people for "spending money they don't have" is beyond me. Maybe Mr Dice is advocating a strict No-Presents Christmas? I think it's more likely that Mr Dice is simply trying to be an asshole, and falls back on whatever self-righteous stock slogan sounds like it could fit.

Another thing that strikes me about this are the lines to WATCH the lines. Really? Is that a thing now? On-sight atrocity tourism? I mean, what's worse: lining up in the dead of night to buy crap at a discount, or lining up in the dead of night to snigger at people lining up to buy crap at a discount? As soon as someone finds a way to monetize demand for the "Gawking At Black Friday Shoppers" industry, our society will be complete.

(I'm thinking parking lot food carts and t-shirts with really condescending anti-consumer catchphrases on them. Maybe even rent out some sealed, transparent booths in the mall for rubberneckers who want to get a front-row look at the carnage)

Jack Dalton - 2013-11-29

Hey people who don't like this video-- you know this is poetv right? And the person who made the video-- and the YouTube comments in support-- are equally the object of ridicule here? Ok... Just wanted to make sure we are all on the same page.

Sexy Duck Cop - 2013-11-29

I made my post while drunk and angry because my family lives on the other side of the country and I didn't get to spend Thanksgiving with them :(

sasazuka - 2013-11-29

The people who get too smug about shopping at Amazon instead (to buy the same made-in-China electronic junk that people wait in line for) annoy me more, probably because the early-morning-line-waiters-slash-gate-crashers generally don't post at the same message boards I read while there are no shortage of people with superiority complexes about buying from Amazon who do post what read to me like self-congratulatory messages.

I do shop Black Friday (not as big a deal in Canada anyway as it's not preceded by Thanksgiving), but in the afternoon or evening, after things have calmed down. I mean, I would never wait in line to shop and I certainly heap scorn on the tramplers, but I'd rather not have a chip on my shoulder about shopping online either.
