Five sparks for doing all that work to make low current connections then relying on two shitty spot welds to bring it home. Still, impressive work for his age. Kid's got some serious ...potential.

If you've seen the heavy-duty type of soldering iron (the kind you use on thick pieces of copper, not for circuit boards where it would fry)--They usually have a pistol-style hand grip and a trigger switch, and 2 poles sticking out the front end where you attach the heating tip like he does with the steel rod. That's what this is except bigger. He's doing pretty good, but I'm not sure why either. Seems to be in an attic.
