Apparently the lady hit the car belonging to the guy with the camera on her way out. When he reported it he was informed that she had already been arrested on a DUI charge just down the street from there.
Scooter guy was probably trying to stop her from driving drunk and got scraped up and had his scooter totaled in the process.
I can't find anything either, but damn the Huntington Beach Independent is depressing as fuck. That makes the most sense though. I was trying to get a very good friend of mine to not drive home, even though it was only 10 blocks. He outweighed the girl and I combined and ran over my foot as we eventually let him drive home. Luckily nobody was hurt but it was that same belligerent "I'm going to stand in front of your car. Run me down if you will but you're not driving this car" attitude that I had with the guy.Luckily I was wearing my Fryes.
A lot of scooter folk can walk but often not far enough for the journey they are intending to take. Crossing the street may be doable but waltzing around Walmart for 2 hours may require assistance.
I guess the woman invoked that reaction in me more than the scooter-pilot did. She obviously went out fishing a long time ago, either that, or shes drunk, if the previous posters are correct.
Makes you wonder how both of these people even ended up like this.
