Haha, anyway. I just don't know why this scene specifically, because I think Shatner almost ruins it with his crap-ting. I love Nimoy though, don't get me wrong.

The reason why I mentioned it was because it surprised me a little, but I guess it makes sense. Star Trek didn't start out to be about friendship, but the incredible chemistry of these great characters made that a central theme, and this scene expresses that great theme about as explicitly as anything ever could. Spock's memories of friendship are the connection to his self.

I loved Kirstie Alley as Saavik. (Is that really how you spell it?) She was so cute! The idea of a cute Vulcan blew my mind.
