Every time someone says "sexy", take a drink.

I remember being in my twenties, and having a nice old guy in his late 60s explain to me that Solid Gold was what the young people were watching. That should tell you all you need to know. The choreography, set to 80s pop songs, always looked ridiculous to me, and no matter how much "writhing" was going on, it was about as sexy as a root canal.

I love how this grossly overstates the importance of Solid Gold to our culture.
