Boomer The Dog  - 2016-01-11
I've long played this tune on Halloween. I have the two disk vinyl set of his late 1960s works that was put out as a compilation later, and this song stuck out as being so different after hearing his orchestrated works like Diamond Dogs and others from around then.

Boomer The Dog - 2016-01-11 Hi Homer, the station was just going to air when a listener informed us of David's passing, so we were able to bark about it and tribute 4 songs, discussing them.
It's a cool set to me too, and probably one reason is I had the album early on, along with Diamond Dogs which got me started, because of the provocative cover and the meaning I was trying to find in it. I think I got the Deram collection (thanks Ugh for the name) soon after, lots to feast on, and I liked the contrast with songs like 1984 and Fame.
