This is a cool movie. I'd like to see "Playtime" some day, I think there is a 70mm print in circulation (or maybe it's a 4K digital one now). It's the one that has a ton of shit happening on the screen at once.. and I've only seen it on a small-ish TV before.

I saw a Playtime/Metropolis double feature in my local independent cinema after ingesting an uncomfortably strong cup of pot chocolate.

It was rad.

Yeah I love this movie. A little OT but the last time I made homemade pot butter I made it waaaaaaaaaaay too strong and went to go see Matrix Revolutions simply because Cornel West was in it. I don't even know what happened in that movie because I was on screen and everybody was watching me on the screen. It was weirder than any acid/mushroom trip I've ever been on.

It was rad, but I still don't know how that trilogy ends, and I really don't care.

IZ, at least put a little effort into making your story believable, everybody knows there's no such thing as pot butter that's too strong.

Yeah I don't care to go back and revisit them.. as a Phil major in college I was like "cool" but I was hoping that they'd delve into something deeper than Cartesian dualism which I don't think they ever did, despite the fact that West was in the last 2 movies. It's kind of like having Neil deGrasse Tyson show up in Star Wars The Force Awakens. And in the process the Matrix movies made action movies boring for me as well. Le sigh..
