Korea is an extremely homophobic and repressive of LGBT in general. A simple accusation that somebody is gay can cause a person to lose their entire career, their family and condemn them to homelessness as 'untouchables'. So yeah, beyond evil casually trying to ruin somebody's life 'for the lulz'. As a culture they are only a step above stoning people for that shit so this kind of this kind of bullying is flat out psychopathic.
I have heard tales of workers in office buildings trying to spread rumors that somebody is gay in an attempt to topple perceived rivals. The whole weaponized homophobia thing is pretty sad and gross.
Pizzamerica, my past homophobia was certainly embarrassing, and that's what's funny about this video. They sound just like me and my friends from high school back in the late 90s early 00s. We'd say the exact same things. "I'm not gay, I like girls!"
