Boy, I wish they would put green roofs over every single parking lot.
Green roofs with fiber optics to pass light through below during the day and solar panels to power lights at night.

Parking lots are the least-productive kind of land development. They destroy the soil, are non-permeable and thus contribute to flash flooding, and they are hugely inefficient in terms of economic or human activity per square meter.
