What Republicans don't want to understand is that white supremacy is defined by the attempt to keep whites in the political majority, and that's all.

It doesn't matter if you're motivated by a deep hatred, and a belief that black people are less human, or if you just want your tax cuts and deregulation. When you try to keep black people from voting, and claim, without evidence, that the blackest counties in a swing state are where the fraud is, I can't imagine that people of color give a fast fuck about your motives for cutting them out of the vote. The Republican party has decided that color is a reliable marker of voter affiliation, and they're not really shy about using it to manipulate the vote. There's a long documented history of this that they can't cover up, and this makes the Republican Party a white supremacist organization.

So I guess they're sensitive.

White Supremacy is clearly more than just that recently coined definition, but yes it also includes that. It also includes things based directly on belief of one race's superiority to others. To say "it's defined by X and that's all" is not accurate.
