I wish the Democrat politicians were as afraid of losing votes as the Republican politicians.

But the Democrats have allowed the Republicans to become so dangerous to so many vulnerable segments of the population, they think we'll keep voting for them just to keep the monsters at bay.

And they haven't even done a good job of keeping the monsters at bay.

I like how when her PR team announced she was retiring, she was like "what?" and then they had to remind her, in front of the media, that she had decided to retire.

How do you explain to people who hate LGBTQ+ people and non-white people why they should vote against the party that promises to do terrible things to LGBTQ+ people and non-white people?

Especially when they don't care if their taxes are going to benefit the rich while the services that benefit them are being cut to give the rich even bigger tax breaks as long as people they hate get hurt more.

I'm not being snarky or facetious. I really want to know. I've been trying my whole life and have yet to find a working strategy.

And I do vote Democrat. As a white cis het male property owner, my life won't get markedly worse with Republicans in power, but what about everyone not like me?

I'm all for a healthy conservative counterbalance and am not afraid to have my ideas or beliefs questioned.

I am squarely against corporate slaves that line their pockets against the interests of their constituency.

I also hate the GOP, because they're doing their damndest to socially bomb us back to the Stone Age while they line their pockets against the interests of everyone but themselves.
