Having worked the phones for Beto twice and spoken to dozens (hundreds?) of Spanish speaking Texans I can tell you that it is not only in Florida that Latinos are deeply conservative and fans of Republicans. It's all over the country in fact.

I've seen stats that hispanic/latino people are growing as a share of the electorate but are also depolarizing and showing more internal political diversity. That is, they're getting more republican.

I have some thoughts about how DNC center-right policies on immigration (they're currently getting sued by the ACLU) as well as economic issues like education and healthcare might have something to do with the democrats apparently losing ground in the fastest growing voting block, but eh, whatever. You all should know what I want to say here by now. I will note the Bernie was the most popular candidate among Latinos in 2020, though.
