And yet you yourself own eyes, sir? DO YOU DENY IT?!!

Quad9Damage - 2023-11-03

There will soon be a trail of rent boy corpses with their eyes gouged out.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2023-11-03

I guess when you believe in one silly thing, you can believe in a lot of silly things.

Cena_mark - 2023-11-03

That's known as crank magnetism.

Stories aren't real life.
Also this guy is hella schizophrenic. I lived next to a guy with a traumatic brain injury that resulted in him hearing radio waves that he had to dampen by spray painting random objects in the neighborhood with primer who was a more rational conversationalist.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2023-11-03

Well when you believe in a religion and that religion you believe in says it's true because it was written in a book, you tend to buy a lot of silly things.

I guess nobody told these people that witchcraft and demons aren't real.

They want so desperately to interact with pop culture but don't want it to be reciprocal, lest their own beliefs come into challenge, so they Gish Gallop anything they don't like away into the cornfield and thus get to keep their dogwhistle moon butterfly kabuki language intact.

Cognitive, Ive been meaning to ask you about sampling audio from your Ayn Rand video. I'm wrapping up the album and want to see if you're okay with it

cognitivedissonance - 2023-11-04

Go to town, man. I dropped that project after I couldn't handle it anymore. Rand is really that bad a writer.

Cena_mark - 2023-11-05

I appreciate it. The part where you go on about Moe Howard is amazing. Here's the demo version https://m.soundcloud.com/rumchug/moe-howard-moe-problems

Because of all the movies Satan chooses to hide in, he picks the most effortless and boring sequel everybody already forgot about? See, I thought the point was the Devil working through entertainment that's actually fun. Hocus Pocus 2 barely functions as background noise.

Sludge Vohaul - 2023-11-03

I thought Bette Midler was dead.

Quad9Damage - 2023-11-03

The makeup/CGI does wonders for her rotten corpse.

Binro the Heretic - 2023-11-03

I don't find these assholes so amusing anymore.

Quad9Damage - 2023-11-04

I was waiting for at least one of them to say at the end, "And by the way, Disney made every other person in Salem, Massachusetts Chinese; coincidence?" But that was never brought up, only magic and eyeballs.

Rumor has it that Beijing has Hocus Pocus 2 on endless repeat for dissidents in a secret dungeon.

cognitivedissonance - 2023-11-05

The black nuclear family on the ferris wheel at the end of Mary Poppins 2 was noticeably deranged. I'm not saying it's not possible that they would be in London in the 1930s, but it doesn't seem likely they'd either be allowed on or be desirous of a ride on a ferris wheel with the white folks.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2023-11-08

Are you saying that by including a black family, Disney is compromising realism in their live action/animated musical about a woman who floats around with a magic umbrella?

Who knows? I recently heard in a historical documentary that many, perhaps most cowboys were black, but Hollywood gave us a different picture.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2023-11-08

I sort of liked it, the way I recently discovered that I sort of like "Gilligan's Island". but it didn't make much of an impression on me. I liked that there was a living book that seemed like an homage to the Evil Dead... or was that the first one? I watched them both together, and I couldn't tell one from the other in my memory, not if you put me on the rack.

Quad9Damage - 2023-11-09

The first one has the talking cat and young Thora Birch.

In the second one they go to a Walgreens and talk about things they find. It's the highlight of the almost two hour runtime.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2023-11-11

I used to have this great visual memory for television. I could click on a movie I'd seen just once 20 years earlier, and recognize it within a few seconds. However, by the end of the pandemic, I'd watched so much TV my memory began to slip. I can't remember a fucking thing from at least two seasons of "Halt and Catch Fire", that I'm pretty sure I watched.
