In the last few days: there's them brutally killing their own hostages, Israeli bulldozers drove over and buried displaced civilians sheltering in tents outside a hospital (!!), IDF soldiers gunned down a school full of women and children, IDF snipers killed a mother and daughter in a church, they drone striked another journalist, Israeli forces executed two unarmed civilians on camera in the west bank, Israeli forces knocked over and kicked in the head repeatedly a Palestinian photojournalist in the west bank... there's more. This will go down in history as one of the greatest crimes against humanity since the mid 20th century, and it's all being filmed and put on the internet in real time.

There's a lot of *evil* stuff to submit, is what I'm trying to say.

i don't know. it seems like using this site to promote some kind of moral high ground against one side or the other in this conflict - the results of the conflict being something that is indisputably "evil" - may be subverting the goal or purpose to quietly exhibit a certain kind of "evil" that "portal of evil" was created to celebrate.

people are passionate and opinionated about the cultures, politics, and conflicts of the middle east, and rightfully so, but man. do we really have to be subjected to people venting spleen at each other to the detriment of our little online club... which has clearly seen better days? it alienates people who just want to fuck around and not deal with death, destruction, and mayhem. there's plenty of that elsewhere.

And also if you’re an American or European then your money and politicians support Israel, so you should at least see what Israelis are doing with your support so as to have an informed opinion on the conflict rather than just default support Israel ‘because something something antisemitism/holocaust/our best ally’
